Please perform a hip examination on this patient, request any appropriate investigations and offer a differential diagnosis

Key history findings
- Left hip pain (dull, aching)
- Hip is usually stiff in the morning
- PMHx of hypothyroidism
- DHx levothyroxine, paracetamol
